From intern to the top
Every career is a five-rung ladder. The thing that moves you up it is skill — and the fastest way to build skill is the right furniture at home.
The five-level ladder
Each of the 33 careers runs from Level 1 to Level 5, with a new title and a pay rise at every step — a Tech career climbs from Intern to CTO, Law from Clerk to SAN, Chef from Dishwasher to celebrity chef. Moving up needs the career's skill at the required level and 100% work performance (see how promotions work).
Train skills at home with furniture
The smartest money you spend early isn't a flashy car — it's furniture that trains the skill your career needs. Buy it once, use it between shifts, and your promotions come faster. These are the skill-training items, checked in-game:

Match furniture to your career
Buy the item that trains your skill: a Laptop Desk (₦18,000) or Bookshelf for a Tech career, a Dumbbell Rack (₦3,400) for Medicine or Nursing, an Acoustic Guitar for the music careers. A Standing Mirror or Ring Light builds charisma for Banking and Real Estate.
Then pick the career with the highest ceiling you're willing to train for — see best jobs.
